addictive Projects

Whilst we have just launched we are already busy with live projects;

Meeting Magician

We have our own IP project in the Apple store and also due to be launched on Android and Blackberry.

Meeting Magician is an app that builds on the insight that meetings tend to be tedious and offers a number if ways of alleviating this tedium. The app includes;

*buzzword bingo that can be played over wifi with other people at the meeting
*word of the day - a new word each day to be included in the meeting - today's word is Coleslaw
*time wasted calculator - by noting the average hourly charge out rate of the meetings participants and the number of them the app calculates how much money is being wasted.

The outcome of each of these can be shared through Twitter and Facebook - we expect lots of WPP and Morgan Stanley people to be boasting about how wasteful their meetings are...

The app also allows you to programme a fake call - giving you an opportunity to get out of the meeting without appearing impolite.

Download it now - and there is a money back guarantee - if you have the app next time we meet I'll buy the tea.

Charity NPD

We're working with a major charity on a fascinating NPD project - designing a series of 10k urban orienteering races - where each player requests a clue by texting a shortcode (and making a donation to the charity) and on reaching the destination collects a game piece by using a QR code.

Channel 4 Education

We had an ambitious mobile project going through the commissioning process of the Education team at Channel 4 - we're currently waiting to find out if it will go into development.

The project is around finding ways of encouraging young people to expand the territory they feel comfortable in by having them build their own map of their area. Combining Google Maps with texting, people can tag interesting places and have them added to the map -they can then add more content about that place through adding photos and videos.

Then building on the Yellow Arrow project in New York a few years back, these spaces are tagged so others can discover them - just text the code of the sticker to the shortcode shown to learn the story about the place. Its a mobile version of blue plaques for young people.

It didn't get funding but we're looking for other partners to try this approach.

TodaCell

TodaCell is an Israel based mobile ad network focused on premium content and delivering ROI for advertisers. We are advising them on strategy, best practices and market entry in the UK and the US.

Movie Magician

And we are developing an app led service around the film industry - probably as an IP project of our own, but we are also discussing it with the key film distributors.
